Experience in site layout and grading, design of utilities including water, wastewater, and storm drain. Design of large scale 1000+ acre-feet detention basins using AutoCAD Civil 3D, and analyses of major regional open channel and storm drain systems. Muddy River Cooper Street Bridge
Project completed in July 2015. Construction cost = $14 million.
All weather bridge crossing and 4,600 LF of open channel to convey 21,400 cfs through the Muddy River in Overton, Nevada. Responsibilities include layout and grading of flood control channel and vertical profile of elevated roadway, utility relocation and design, project design report/calculations, project specifications, cost estimate, and construction support services. The design required preservation of a natural meandering river (USACE 404 permit). The project involved relocation of an existing underground gravity irrigation system, design of an irrigation pump system, and installation of a steel carrier pipe under the concrete channel for future water line crossing.

Western Clark County 215 Bruce Woodbury Beltway - Craig Road to Hualapai Way
Under construction, scheduled for completion in 2017 - Construction cost = $29 million.
As a subconsultant to CH2M, design a 530 acre-foot regional detention basin and approximately 11,000 LF of reinforced concrete box (RCB) storm drain ranging in size from 8x6 RCB to 14x9 RCB. Responsibilities include layout and contour grading of the dual detention basin using AutoCAD Civil 3D feature lines, layout and profile of storm drain, water relocations, Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) of existing utilities, project design report/calculations, project specifications, cost estimate, and construction support services.

Angel Park Detention Basin Expansion
Project completed in 2014 - Construction cost = $7 million.
Expansion of an existing flood control detention basin in Las Vegas, Nevada to detain approximately 1,600 acre-foot of storm water. Responsibilities include layout and contour grading of the detention basin using AutoCAD Land Desktop 3D polylines and surfaces, storm drain plan and profiles, project design report/calculations, project specifications, cost estimate, and construction support services.
